When either radio, wifi0 or wifi1, is set into mesh mode using the web GUI, the Root AP shows 2 VAPs on the radio and the Mesh AP shows 3. Are the extra VAPs so the radio is also an AP for clients?

    Hi Dennis,

Whenever you switch to mesh mode,
    a) the Root AP will have 3 VAPs which are Mesh-Master, Mesh-Monitoring, Master mode
    b) the Mesh AP will have 3 VAPs (same as RAP), with additional Mesh-Client.

The extra VAPS (eg. mesh-master) actually has to be used by mesh-client only. Other common client is not supposed to connect to it. Moreover, the VAP's SSID has been hidden by default setting, client are not able to connect to it.
